Safely Home is a Northern Ireland based death notification website. Established in 2020, Safely Home aim to provide support to families who have suffered a bereavement and provide a platform for people to provide words of comfort to those families in need.
The Challenge
Safely Home required a new website to reflect the sensitive nature of their business. The website required several complex features such as multiple login levels and user profiles, complex forms, and interactive mapping system. Safely Home required the website to be as mobile friendly across as possible, with enhanced features. The content needed to be displayed in an engaging and easy to navigate format so website visitors could easily find the information they were looking.
Our Solution
Working closely with Safely Home, the team at WebsiteNI created a modern, fresh, and clean website. The main homepage allows users to easily see the number of recent deaths by county, create an account to leave condolences, create a bookmark to easily remember find the website again, and search deaths by surname. We created multiple login levels to facilitate different user levels, while also creating an array of forms for the backend of the undertaker login section to facilitate making the processes easier for everyone.
The website was developed within the WordPress platform with an easy to use Content Management System to allow administrators at Safely Home to update key pages, add death notices, images and content to maintain an effective online presence.
