The Centre for Cross Border Studies is a registered charity to help people who cross the border to live, work, study and retire. The Charity required a one-stop cross-border mobility information website which would provide comprehensive and easily accessible information on key aspects of jobs, learning opportunities and living conditions on both sides of the border.
Our website design and development team created a modern and professional website for Border People with clean navigation, clear signposts and an advanced onsite Search facility to allow users to easily and quickly access the information available on the site.
The new Border People website is now recognised as an important source of cross-border citizens’ information and advice on the island of Ireland. It provides practical information for people crossing the border to live, work, study or retire. It provides a signposting service to a wide range of (single jurisdiction) information sources, the most popular of which are in the areas of social security, taxation, welfare benefits, healthcare, pensions, and motoring.
The fresh and modern responsive web design works seamlessly across a range of browsers, from desktop through to tablet and mobile and featured a language selector to enable website visitors to read the content in their preferred language.
The website was developed within the WordPress platform with an easy to use Content Management System to enable administrators at Border People to manage an effective online presence, improving communications with the users on latest news, events and media.
