Assistance Dogs Northern Ireland (ADNI) was set up in 2011 to help fulfil the need for Assistance Dogs and training options for Autism and full-time wheel-chair users within Northern Ireland.

ADNI believes that there is a gap in the provision of Assistance Dogs for these people within Northern Ireland and hopes to help as many people as is possible. Assistance Dogs provide independence and dignity for people with disabilities and can greatly increase quality of life and promote well-being.

the challenge

ADNI had a dated website which required a complete revamp to reflect the organisation’s brand and vision and ultimately create awareness. The website required improved navigation to effectively promote the range of services, events, and vast range of information available to users, as well as a facility to enable users to make a donation and engage online.

our solution

  • Clean and contemporary: We designed a bespoke website for Assistance Dog Northern Ireland that portrays their brand identity. The new website design utilises engaging images, video, and content ensuring the website portrays Assistance Dog Northern Ireland as a leading charity. Our bespoke website design enables Assistance Dog Northern Ireland to showcase the services they offer and the benefits of the charity through their case studies.
  • Clear navigation: One of the most important elements in the design of this website was the navigation menu. Our menu structure makes sure that users can easily and quickly find their way around the site structure to find the services and information they are looking for. It is simple and easy to use.
  • Clear Calls to Action: WebsiteNI also used clear Call to Actions to enhance user experience and effectively promote the full-service offering, expertise, client focus, and capability of Assistance Dog Northern Ireland. Important Calls to Action in the new design include ‘Donate’ and ‘Protect Our Future’.
  • Donate Facility: The Assistance Dog Northern Ireland website was developed with a donate facility on the website that allows users to make a donation easily.
  • Responsive website design: The responsive design of the website ensures it works seamlessly across a range of browsers and devices – from desktop to tablet and mobile.
  • Flexible WordPress content management system: Developed within the WordPress platform with an easy-to-use Content Management System, the new website enables administrators and Assistance Dog Northern Ireland to easily update the website with new content and images to maintain an effective online presence.
