The Cuan has been a landmark in the centre of Strangford village in Northern Ireland for over 200 years. In 2020, under new ownership, The Cuan underwent an extensive renovation and upgrading and is now a stylish modern hotel full of character and style offering a high level of hospitality to locals and visitors alike. The Cuan provides accommodation in a a range of luxurious bedrooms, and quality food in the bistro or dining room, and also caters for bespoke events and small weddings.
The Challenge
WebsiteNI initially created the original website several years ago for the The Cuan. With new ownership in 2020 and an extensive refurb, The Cuan required the current website to be redesigned to complement the new branding and reflect the new offering and style of the hotel.
Our Solution
Working closely with The Cuan, the team at WebsiteNI created a modern, fresh, and clean website in line with the new brand guidelines. With clear navigation and sticking visuals, the website allows users to get an overview of the hotel and everything on offer, with clear signposts and quick and easy access through to the different sections.
The website was developed within the WordPress platform with an easy to use Content Management System to allow administrators at The Cuan to update images and content to maintain an effective online presence.
