The team at WebsiteNI had a fantastic day out at Todd’s Leap for a team-building day! Between 40′ high zip lines, giant swings and off-road rallying, it’s sure to say, we all had a blast.
Todd’s Leap is Ireland’s biggest activity centre, with over 20 activities to choose from and various different activity packages to suit any group. Situated in a unique location, it is perfect for any corporate event. The folks at Todds Leap can create bespoke packages for small teams to entire companies and make each event completely unique. So, for us, it was a no brainer that we should go there for our team building day.
We started the day by doing some team building activities, we realised then that we all were a lot more competitive than we thought. Between rooting our teammates on and trying to win, we’re sure our activity leaders were wondering what they got themselves into!
We then got to experience Irelands longest zipline. This is when the adrenaline junkies came out to play. We had a few hesitant colleagues, but of course, we weren’t going to let them sit out. This is a team day after all.
From one height enduring activity to another, we then got to experience Todds Leap’s Giant Swing. Now, when we say giant, we mean giant. There were quite a few high pitched screams, and this was only from the men!
After this, we got to keep our feet on the ground for the rest of the day. A few people were definitely glad about this. We played the game ‘Last Man Standing’, this really put our athletic abilities to the test. We then moved on to some archery. Once again, the competitive folk came out to play. Between trying to pop balloons and shooting arrows in all directions, it’s safe to say, we had a blast.
To end the day, we got to experience the Off-Road Hill Rally. This was probably the most favoured activity by all. This is a must-do event for all those thrill-seekers out there. We got thrown about, splashed by muddy puddles and told that we could possibly roll the truck, so when they said hold on tight, they meant it!
The team at WebsiteNI had a blast and we will definitely be back. We highly recommend Todds Leap for any type of event, whether it’s corporate, hen/stag dos or birthday parties. They have something for everyone.
