Assistance Dogs Northern Ireland (ADNI) was set up in 2011 to help fulfil the need for Assistance Dogs and training options for Autism and full-time wheel-chair users within Northern Ireland. ADNI believes that there is a gap in the provision of Assistance Dogs for these people within Northern Ireland and hopes to help as many people as is possible. Assistance Dogs provide independence and dignity for people with disabilities and can greatly increase quality of life and promote well-being.
ADNI had a dated website which required a complete revamp to reflect the organisation’s brand and vision and ultimately create awareness. The website required improved navigation to effectively promote the range of services, events, and vast range of information available to users, as well as a facility to enable users to make a donation and engage online.
The team at WebsiteNI designed and built a fully functional and mobile responsive website for ADNI. The new website has been designed to reflect the corporate branding and core message of ADNI. The homepage and navigation bar aids the user journey and provides easy access to key areas, along with a prominent Donate button visible throughout the website in to motivate website visitors to make an online donation.
WebsiteNI also wanted ADNI to build personal connections with their audience. The new website has dedicated section to ‘Our Dogs’ and ‘Get Involved’ to help users gain a better understanding of the character and ethos of ADNI and can build a trusting relationship to understand why they should use ADNI’s services, fund-raise or make donations.
ADNI’s new modern website contains a News section with past and upcoming events, newsletters, and fresh and updated content. This increases ADNI’s chances of ranking higher in the Search Engines for keywords.
The website was developed within the WordPress platform with an easy to use Content Management System. This ensures the website is modern and interactive and allows for ease of use and functionality for both the end user and the administrators.
